INDIANAPOLIS, IN (June 4, 2026) – Indianapolis is one of 10 cities nationwide to host Anthropic's new "Claude for Small Business" workshop series, bringing hands-on AI adoption training directly to Indiana small business leaders as part of the statewide IN AI initiative.

The free workshop, scheduled for June 26 in Indianapolis, is part of Anthropic's national spring tour focused on helping small and midsize businesses integrate AI into everyday operations through practical, real-world applications.

Anthropic recently launched "Claude for Small Business", a new offering designed to help smaller businesses use AI across finance, operations, marketing, customer service, and administrative workflows through integrations with commonly used business platforms including QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and DocuSign.

“We’re excited to bring Anthropic’s Claude SMB Tour to Indiana,” said Lina Ochman, Head of U.S. SMB for Anthropic. “Small and midsize businesses are critical drivers of innovation and economic growth, and we believe practical AI adoption should be accessible beyond major tech hubs. Indianapolis stood out because of the strong collaboration among business, workforce, and community leaders working to help
organizations translate AI interest into real operational impact.”

The Indianapolis workshop is being delivered as part of IN AI, Indiana's statewide initiative focused on advancing human-centered AI adoption across business, workforce, and education systems.

The CEOs of Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) serves as the local Indianapolis host in collaboration with High Alpha and TechPoint. This collaboration with Anthropic is part of CICP’s broader strategy to harness the reach of global industry leaders to ensure Hoosier employers — from main street to large businesses across the state — have access to the tools they need to increase productivity and drive wage growth.

"AI adoption is no longer only an enterprise conversation, said Melina Kennedy, CEO of CICP. "Small and midsize businesses are actively looking for practical ways to improve productivity, support employees, and stay competitive. Indiana has an opportunity to lead by helping businesses translate AI awareness into real operational adoption."

“Indiana’s future competitiveness will be determined not just by who has access to AI, but by who knows how to apply it. This workshop is another step toward making Indiana the most AI-ready state in the country by giving business leaders practical tools and real-world examples for using AI to improve how their organizations operate and grow,” said Eric Christopher, president and CEO of TechPoint.

Each city on Anthropic’s 10-city tour will host approximately 100 local small business leaders for free half-day AI fluency and hands-on implementation workshops. Attendees will work through practical exercises on their own laptops, learn real-world operational AI use cases, connect with other business leaders navigating similar questions, and receive a complimentary one-month Claude Max subscription to continue experimenting with AI tools after the workshop.

Workshop details and registration information are available here.

"Indiana has always punched above its weight when it comes to building companies and supporting entrepreneurs, and AI is the next frontier where we have a real opportunity to lead," said Scott Dorsey, managing partner and co-founder at High Alpha. "Bringing Anthropic's Claude workshop to Indianapolis is exactly the kind of initiative that helps our small and midsize businesses move from curiosity to confidence. High Alpha is proud to support this effort, and I'm excited to see Hoosier business leaders put these powerful tools to work."
