High Alpha Capital participates in DroneDeploy’s Series B financing round.

We are very excited to announce that High Alpha Capital has participated in DroneDeploy’s Series B financing round.  

DroneDeploy, based in San Francisco, is the software layer to control any drone, delivered via a web app interface or iOS and Android mobile apps. The software provides easy automated flight and data capture, enabling high quality interactive maps for analysis and 3D modeling.  

DroneDeploy is well suited for a wide range of aerial image and mapping applications, including crop scouting, mapping and surveying, construction and mining stockpile measurement, roof and insurance inspection, and more. DroneDeploy is also compatible with any drone, allowing for a very broad adoption. Its users have mapped millions of acres in more than 100 countries.  

High Alpha is thrilled to be investing in DroneDeploy alongside Scale Venture Partners and Emergence Capital, who we view as two of the industry’s leading SaaS investors. We see enormous opportunity at the intersection of SaaS and commercial drone applications, and are excited to be partnering with the DroneDeploy team to build the definitive market leader.
