Just a block from the Salesforce Tower that dominates the Indianapolis skyline, Eric Christopher and his team are building what they hope will be Indiana's next big tech hit.  

Founded by a group of techies with ties to local breakout ExactTarget, the email marketing company Salesforce acquired in 2013 for $2.5 billion, Zylo is a long way from rivaling Marc Benioff and co. for influence. But with a fresh $9 million funding round from Silicon Valley venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners and the venture arms of Salesforce and Slack, Zylo has the pedigree and what it hopes is the product to someday join those ranks.
